Introduction
Welcome to MedSurvey Rewards! By participating in our surveys, you agree to the following terms and conditions. We value your participation and aim to make your experience as rewarding as possible. Please read these terms carefully.
Survey Participation
Identity Verification
We may ask a few questions to confirm your identity before proceeding with the survey. If we find that the person invited is not the one participating, we will not pay the offered reward and may terminate the account or exclude the individual from future surveys.
Single Completion
You can complete the survey only once. Any other attempts are discarded.
Qualification
You’ll need to qualify for this survey before being eligible to complete it. Qualification is based on specific research requirements, not professional qualifications. No reward will be paid to respondents who do not qualify, unless otherwise stated in the invitation. The data provided by non-qualifiers will not be sold or included in any client deliverables.
First Come, First Serve
Surveys are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Complete the survey as soon as possible before spots run out. Only those who successfully complete the survey will be paid the reward.
Attention to Detail
Read all questions carefully and answer thoroughly. We monitor quality through passively collected information and by comparing responses to third-party data. Consistent inattentiveness may result in forfeiture of the reward.
No Editing
Due to the complexity of our surveys, respondents cannot return to or modify previous answers. Please review your responses carefully before submission. To change an answer, you must restart the survey from the beginning.
Estimated Length
The survey length is an estimate based on average tests. Actual length may vary due to factors like response patterns, internet connection speed, and browser type. We cannot offer additional incentives for surveys taking longer than estimated.
Technical Support
We provide technical support for any issues during the survey. Before contacting support, please ensure the issue is not with your internet connection or browser. While we strive for uninterrupted access, we cannot guarantee error-free systems or survey availability. We cannot guarantee incentives for missed opportunities due to technical issues, regardless of the party at fault.
Rewards and Payments
Incentives
Each survey invitation clearly states the reward offered for completion. Rewards are paid by check, and mailed to a valid U.S. address that the participant provides or confirms at the end of each survey. To deter fraud, we cannot deliver reward payments to PO boxes. Rewards are typically delivered within 6-8 weeks after the survey is completed. If a check is damaged or lost, contact us promptly for re-issuance.
Payment for Data
You are compensated for the data you provide in the survey. Because of this compensation, you cannot opt out of us selling this data. Some of your rights to delete or opt out of selling your survey data will be restricted. Please refer to our privacy policy for more information.
Compliance and Legal Obligations
Data Use and Retention
The data we collect may be linked with third-party data to verify and analyze responses. When presenting results to sponsors, we will not link responses to personally identifiable information without your permission. Some data must be retained for compliance and to process customer service issues.
Fraud and Deceptive Practices
Engaging in fraud or deceptive practices will result in forfeiture of rewards and exclusion from future surveys.
Telephone Surveys and Interviews
Scheduled Participation
Participants must show up at the scheduled time or reschedule with at least 48 hours’ notice. Be prepared with a noise-free environment and a stable internet connection (if required). Follow all provided instructions and requirements.
Rescheduling Rules
If we reschedule due to an issue on our end:
- No additional reward if we reschedule with 48-hour notice.
- 50% reward bonus if we reschedule 24-48 hours before the survey.
- 100% reward bonus if we reschedule within 24 hours of the survey.
Cancellation Rules
If we cancel due to an issue on our end:
- No additional reward if we cancel with 48-hour notice.
- 50% of the offered reward if we reschedule 24-48 hours before the survey.
- 100% of the offered reward if we reschedule within 24 hours of the survey.
Reporting Adverse Events
Adverse Event Reporting
If survey responses capture an adverse event, we may need to report this to the survey sponsor. We will only share your name and email address if we receive your informed consent and will try to limit the information shared while complying with reporting requirements.
Third-Party Surveys
Partner Surveys
Sometimes, we offer surveys through third-party partners. We will inform you when you are being redirected to a third-party survey. You will still deal with us for technical issues and rewards. We may share some personally identifiable information with partners for legitimate business purposes.

MedSurvey Rewards (“Rewards”) is our platform that connects healthcare professionals and patients with relevant healthcare-related market research opportunities. MedSurvey Rewards is owned and operated by MedSurvey, and we specialize in conducting surveys with healthcare professionals and patients. Once you complete the signup process and activate your account (“member,” “you,” “your”), or subscribe to notifications without creating an account (“subscriber”, “you,” “your”), we build your profile using self-reported and third-party data to send you survey invitations tailored to your specific medical knowledge and expertise. Information Collected Through Chat and “Contact Us” Form
When you fill out our public "Contact Us" form on our website, we ask for your name and email address so we can respond to your inquiry. This information is stored in our system as a customer support inquiry. We also offer a chat service on our website, where we collect your email address to assist you better. Additionally, the chat collects passive information about your browser and site activity. Please note that this chat service is managed by a third party, so when you provide your name, it is shared with them to facilitate your request.
Information Collected During the Signup Process
We collect information during the signup process that helps us confirm your identity as a healthcare professional, links you to third-party professional data (i.e. medical occupation, specialty, practice affiliation, etc.), and allows us to communicate with you about relevant survey opportunities. Here’s a summary of the personally identifiable information we’re collecting and how it will be used:
Name and practicing state
We ask for your name and practicing state during sign-up to search the public NPI database and display matching results. This is a critical part of the signup process during which we ask you to claim your public NPI record. This information is not stored unless you proceed to subscribe or create an account.
NPI record
We ask you to claim your public NPI record so that we can check your eligibility, link you to your public professional profile, and to be able to verify your identity after subscribing or creating an account. This information is not stored unless you proceed to subscribe or create an account.
Email address
We collect and verify your email address to: ensure that you do not have another account, verify your identity, notify you of survey opportunities, and send messages relating to your account and/or surveys you engage with. We do not share your email address with any third parties other than to verify your identity or disburse survey rewards.
Mobile number
We collect and verify your mobile number to: ensure that you do not have another account, verify your identity, and notify you of survey opportunities, only if you choose to enroll the mobile number in text and/or call notifications. We do not share your mobile number with any third parties other than to verify your identity or disburse survey rewards.
Mailing address
We collect your mailing address after becoming a member or subscriber so that we can disburse survey rewards. We share your mailing address with a third party that we have contracted to process reward payments on our behalf.
Information Collected Through Surveys
Our mission with MedSurvey Rewards is to connect healthcare professionals with relevant, healthcare-related market research surveys. We think it’s important that you know what happens with your survey data after you share it with us.

The information you submit in each survey is linked to you in our systems so that we can analyze it, process your reward payment, and address any customer service issues that may come up. At times, your survey data may be linked to third-party data for quality control purposes and further analysis. The survey results that are shared with survey sponsors are reported in aggregate form only. Your survey responses will not be directly associated with your personally identifiable information if shared with survey sponsors, without your agreement. If a survey sponsor requests the identity of survey participants for any reason, MedSurvey will contact you directly to receive permission for the release of such information.

If a survey sponsor requests validation of survey participants for a particular project, a third party will be contracted to contact a random sample of respondents who participated in that specific survey to verify some of the provided information. The contracted third party will only use personally identifiable information to contact some of the respondents and will properly discard all such information after the end of such a project.
Information Relating to Survey Rewards
Each survey invitation will clearly state any rewards offered for completion. To ensure you receive your survey reward, we'll ask you to enter or confirm your mailing address where the reward should be sent.

We securely store information about the income you earn from surveys and your participation history on our servers. Members can access this information anytime through their secure Rewards portal.
Passively Collected Information
We will collect certain information using a visitor's browser to monitor for fraud and to produce statistics on how our website, survey, portal, and mobile app are being used. Disabling the sharing of such information may prevent individuals from participating in surveys, or triggering fraud alerts that may significantly delay or prevent payout of the offered survey reward.
Use of Cookies
A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a visitor's computer to record and store certain data. We use session ID cookies to authenticate members after initial login to allow easy profile browsing. The session ID cookie expires (deleted permanently) when a member closes their web browser. We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on our site.
Control of Personal Profile Information
Members can securely access their Rewards account using their unique username and password. Inside the Rewards portal, members can update their email address, password, mobile number, and other personal details.

If a member or subscriber claims an NPI record, they won't be able to change their name or professional information, such as medical specialty or practice affiliations, directly through the Rewards portal. Instead, they’ll need to update their information with NPPES (https://nppes.cms.hhs.gov) or through an administrator at their workplace. Once their NPI record is updated, they can sync the new data with their profile in the Rewards account.
Deleting a MedSurvey Rewards Account and Profile
Members and subscribers can request their Rewards account (members only) and profile be deleted by contacting customer service at 215-346-7373, live chat on our website, or by email at support@medsurvey.com. Requests can also be made in writing at our mailing address: 1111 Street Rd. Suite 300, Southampton, PA 18966.

Additionally, members have the option to delete their Rewards account and profile at any time in their secure Rewards portal.

It’s important to note that even if a member or subscriber deletes their account and/or profile, some data will be retained under legal obligations or for legitimate business purposes. For more information, please refer to the “Data Retention and Deletion” section.
Data Retention and Deletion
When you participate in a survey and receive compensation, the ability to delete the data you provided may be limited. Since we paid you for this data, it becomes part of our permanent records for auditing and compliance purposes.

Even if you choose to delete your Rewards account (members only) and profile, we must retain some information to comply with legal and business obligations. This includes maintaining records of financial transactions and participant engagements to meet regulatory requirements and for our record-keeping.

This helps us and our survey sponsors understand trends and patterns. Rest assured, any reports we send to survey sponsors do not include your personally identifiable information unless you explicitly agree.
Rewards Processing
When issuing rewards to survey participants, we share necessary details such as mailing addresses with a trusted third party responsible for processing these payments. This ensures that you receive your rewards promptly and securely.
Reporting Requirements
To comply with tax laws and other regulatory standards, we share your personally identifiable information with third parties that assist us with necessary filings. If additional filings are required to maintain compliance with applicable laws and industry standards, we may also engage contractors and share your information as needed to fulfill these obligations.

You have the right to request the deletion of your personal information that we have collected, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., information needed to complete transactions or comply with legal obligations). Right to Opt-Out
Since the sale of survey data is a core part of our business model and we pay you specifically for this data, we do not offer an opt-out option for the sale of survey data. You cannot opt out of us selling your survey data because it is part of the compensation agreement for your participation. In situations where you do not qualify for a survey after answering screening questions and you are not eligible for the offered reward, we will not sell the data that has been collected as part of the screening process.

We do not sell your personal information that we have collected from you during the signup process. Members and subscribers are always able to delete their Rewards account and/or profile. See “Deleting a MedSurvey Rewards Account.”
Right to Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. This means we will not deny you services, charge you different prices, or provide a different level of service if you exercise your rights.
Authorized Agent
You may designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf. To designate an authorized agent, please provide us with written authorization or power of attorney.
